Exercise
We were grouped into pairs to shoot and edit a simple exercise based on the tutorial we found.

Work in progress in final project
We separate the task that is Jinyo handle the writing while I focused on editing and shooting. However, we also helped each other when needed.

After planning our storyboard and shot list, we decided to film our first scene at school. I brought the camera and other equipment because it would help us achieve better quality.

After filming, I imported the video and audio into Adobe Premiere to cut and edit the footage then added the voice-over to match the scenes.

Then I adjusted brightness, contrast and colour tone for the footage to enhance and balance its visual quality.

I edited some sound in Adobe Audition adjust the sound according the requirement need.

Lastly I used After Effect to create visual effect based on the tutorial that we found then combined everything together in Adobe Premiere Pro.

After receiving the feedback from our lecturer during the consultation time. I make some adjustments based on the feedback to improve the final outcome.

REFLECTION
Experience
Working on a visual effects project was both challenging and exciting. Is was my first time experience video shooting in expert way from planning the storyboard to editing the final outcome. I learned how important it is to manage lighting, camera angles and scene setup before starting to shoot and if need to applying any effect. One major challenge was making the effect look natural because sometimes the outcome not suitable or movement didn't match and I had to redo and try again. Through this process, I realized that VFX takes patience, precision and creativity and make the video more fun.

Observation
I realized how important planning and timing are in visual effect. Every effect need to match the scene perfectly from creating the motion tracking sync with the video lighting and colour and making some effect. Even small details like glow or particle effects can make a big impact if used well. I learned that layering and combining effects takes patience and each trial helps improve the final result. Watching tutorials helped but applying what I learned in my own video was the real challenge. Overall, VFX is a creative but detailed process that requires both technical and design thinking.

Findings
I learned that VFX requires to takes time to planning and testing. A clear storyboard helped guide the editing while lighting and composition made the effects feel more natural and have interesting view. This project taught me how creativity and technical skills work together to enhance storytelling.
