Exercise 1 & 2


LECTURES

Week 1
We didn't have class but our lecturer shared the brief, showed pass student work and Flip presentation for more information and ideas in google classroom. We also need to bring some materials for Exercise 1 for next class such as a box of Lego, a jar of buttons, a jar of marbles or colourful rubber bands.

Week 2
After the lecture introduce us type of infographic, we start to do our exercise the lecturer told us to bring the exercise material to class. At the same time, lecturer also explain about flip presentation and started to form a group of 2-3 pax. For the next class we need to present some topic idea for our final project.




Week 3
When lecture done, lecturer let us extand the deadline because very few student did it correctly. Lastly, we present our group topic to receive his feedback.


Week 4


INSTRUCTIONS

Exercise 1: Quatifiable Information
Quantify raw data and visualize information as a photograph

A is a visual representation of numerical data that allows for easy interpretation and analysis. 

Instruction:
Gather a set of objects and separate it into category such as color, shape, pattern, and other quantifiable factor.
Example:

1. Box of Lego
2. Jar of button
3. Jar of marble ball
4. Set of colourful rubber strap

In this exercise you're required to quantify our chosen objects and arrange them into a presentable layout or chart
The information must be presented as is, and you need to arrange the objects with relevant indicators written out with pens to help you to visualize the quantity and data. The examples of objects that can be use are buttons, coins, lego pieces, M&Ms, and more.

Final Submission
1. A colourfull set of rubber band
The object that I selected is rubber band. This is a coloursful set of rubber band that are random data that havent been arrange it yet.

2. Story - The Adventure Duck
First i pick some rubber band and arrange it to create a story of experience of the adventure duck that starting by a duck in the pond flower. This is a story in duck life,that represent a designer embarks on daily adventures that facing challenges and outcoming attacks from unexpected sources. Through perseverance, experimentation and growth that let us evolve transforming from a curious beginner into a skilled and graceful goose.

2. Colour of rubber band
I seperate them and arrange it follow by their own colour.

3. Number of rubber band
This is arrange by the amount of number of accending order based on the colour of the rubber band.

Exercise 2: L.A.T.C.H Infographic Poster
1. Select 1 topic of your own choice and create a poster design.
2. Organize a group of information into a visual poster that combines and utilizes
    the LATCH principles (minimum 4).
3. Required to use the digital photo editing/illustration software available to
    assemble the information into a LATCH infographic poster.
4. You are allowed to reuse back the image but you have to create the rest of
    visuals to complete the poster.

Requirements:
1. Size resolution: A4 (100DPI)
2. Explanation of how each component of L.A.T.C.H is relatable to each other.
3. Progress and submission link on E-Portfolio.

Progress
First I came up with two ideas which are one about creating a graphic of Mario timeline and another about showcasing a timeline of famous paintings.

After that, I decided to go with famous art timeline and done some draft research for it.

L: Location of the art
T: Timeline of the art
C: Catelogy arrange type of art
H: Hierachy of ascending order

I explored 4 different arrangement styles to find out which one fits the best.
