Progression
Week 1
Finding group members and planning discussions through online meetings and
also find some references and topic.
Week 2
We came out three ideas and proposal to lecturer for his feedback.
Title: How to ace your job interview
We fairly distributed the job scope so everyone had an equal role, from
finding video references and creating a reference board to gathering fun
statistics, brainstorming interview questions, and adding extra ideas to
refine the research.
Week 4
We present our idea to lecturer and lecturer chooses and approve.
Week 5
Present our proposal to lecturer, after that we started to write the script
of the video. I do introduction and statistic .
Week 7
We started to discuss and putting our storyboard.
Week 8
We try to voice over by using AI voice but it come out not in our expection
so we do voice over ourself.
Week 10
We find photo, video and started crop
Week 13
Amend the slide and propose again to lecturer
Intro and statistic
Final FLIP presentation
Final Video
FEEDBACK
Week 2
- All topic interesting - topic 2 nich, topic 3 medium, topic 1 mass
- Truth abstratch hard to get numbeers and very sibjective - problem to get info
- Carbon footprint - good topic, already a lot videos already, compete with them
- Job interview tips - everyone can use, students, working professionals, good video can be used by universities, mass target audience, statistic, dont make it too professionals or rigid - proceed.
Week 5
- It is too long make it shorter
Week 7
- Ok to proceed with this storyboard
- Good job on the refinement and good progress
- Try to shorten the storyboard to 2 mins max
- In UI/UX past the 2 min mark ppl lose interest
- Add the duration into the storyboard
- Can maintain using these slides
- Next step is to try to read out the script in a voiceover, and then use the script as subtitling in the video
Week 13
- Make sure the final output matches the proposal
- Meet all the reqs outlined in google classroom (show casuality, charts, etc.)
REFLECTION
Experience
This project was a fun and meaningful experience especially when experimenting with different styles to play with graphic and the infographic. Through collaboration with my group members, I learned the value of teamwork and communication. I also gained new knowledge and developed a deeper understanding of how to organize information clearly and creatively in infographic design.
Observation
During the project, I observed that audiences respond better to information that is presented clearly and visually. Organized layouts and clear data made the infographic more effective while teamwork encouraged constructive feedback and stronger creative outcomes.
Findings
This project demonstrates that clear visuals and well-organized data significantly help audiences understand information more easily and efficiently. Presenting content in a structured and engaging visual way allows complex concepts to be conveyed more clearly. Furthermore, effective teamwork played a crucial role in improving the overall quality of the infographics. Through discussion, sharing ideas, and fair task allocation the team was able to refine the content, optimize the design and ultimately deliver a more concise and cohesive result.
